Prof. Dr. Johannes Schramm
Second Vice-President for Europe of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS)
Professor Dr. Johannes Schramm, former head of the Neurosurgical Department at the University of Bonn, was the 5th Visiting Professor at the Charité from 08-09 November 2012. Professor Schramm is an acknowledged expert for intraoperative electro-physiological neuromonitoring. Retired since 2012 he is still the second Vice-President for Europe of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS). He published about 400 papers and 50 book chapters and introduced new operations techniques in the field of Motorcortex-Stimulation which are still established as global standards.
